Our Story
Alman Hesabi was born from a simple observation during a dinner with friends in Istanbul. We spent 20 minutes trying to split the bill fairly, and the frustration on everyone's faces told us there had to be a better way. As software engineers with experience in fintech and hospitality technology, we knew the solution wasn't just about splitting bills—it was about reimagining the entire payment experience at restaurants. We started by talking to restaurant owners and staff, understanding their pain points with traditional systems. What we discovered was eye-opening: restaurants were losing money to payment errors, staff were overwhelmed with bill calculations, and guests were frustrated with the checkout process. After months of development and pilot testing with select Istanbul restaurants, we launched Alman Hesabi in early 2025. Today, we're proud to serve dozens of restaurants across Turkey, processing thousands of orders and saving countless hours for both staff and guests.
